 Our students conducted  an outreach programme on the topic " career guidance '. They shared information about opportunities available to science, commerce & arts streams for PUC students. they also spoke about Govt. jobs available for the students, entrepreneurship, event Management, they also informed about scholarships like NTSE.  Students conducted games like Puzzle solving, tongue twister etc to encourage them.

conference summary

Day 1

 “Campus to Corporate”  A three days Placement Training Program was organised in our college by Department of Commerce and Management in Association with Career Guidance Cell,  from 10^th October 2019  to 12^th October 2019. The program was inaugurated by Prof. Sandhya, Assistant Professor, DOC, MAHE on 10^th October 2019. Dr. Raghavendra A, Principal, Prof. Shivakumar, HOD, Department of Commerce and Management, Convener of the Program Mrs. Jayalaxmi, Dept of Commerce and Management, , Dr. Anand Acharya, Dept of Sanskrit and convener of Career Guidance Cell were present.

After the inauguration Prof Sandhya delivered a Lecture on “About Myself- Identifying the Strength and Weakness”. She suggested the students for self analysis. She also guided the students on Resume Building and Correspondence through Email.  In Afternoon Session Mr. Yasin Manna of Final Bcom gave a PPT presentation on “Investment in Individuals”. Principal Dr. Raghavendra A took one session and enlightened the students with Logical Questions and Answers.

Day 2.

On 11-10-2019  Prof . Sandhya  took the sessions on “Oral Communication’, Listening Skills and Body Language. She has conducted Group Discussion on the topic “ Is Dress Code Compulsory in the Corporate world?” and all the students  actively participated in that. Students gave their opinion for and against the Topic. In Aftenoon sessions conducted Team Building Activites to the students and created awareness about Team Spirit, Team Leadership, Team Coordination and Time Management.

Day 3.

Mr. Adarsh, SME, Amazon.India. has addressed the students on “How to face Interview”.He  has conducted the MOCK Interview to the students. 15 students were attended the interview and the remaining students were participated as Audience.

Validictory Program was held on 12-10-2019. Principal Dr. Raghavendra A, Mr. Adarsh, Resource Person, Prof. Sandhya R, Resource Person,   HOD, Prof Shivakumar, Conveners Mrs. Jayalaxmi and Dr. AnandAcharya , SWO Dr. Ramesh, all the Faculty members of Dept of Commerce and Management, Trainees were present.
