 Investors Education Program on Capital Market Awareness was organized on 8th August 2018 by Bombay Stock Exchange. The resource person for the talk was Mr. Ramachandra BK. The final year students from BCom attended the talk.

Discussion on Choice Based Credit System

A discussion on the implementation of the CBCS  in Mangalore University colleges from the academic year 2019-20 was initiated by Prof.Shiva Kumar P T, HOD Commerce & Management on 29th July 2018. All the staff of the Department were present and an active discussion on the various facets of the Choice Based Credit System like Curriculum, Grades, Inclusion and exclusion of few subjects from the current curriculum took place.

Inauguration of the Commerce & Management Association [2018-19]

The Commerce & Management Association for the academic year 2018-19 was held on 26th July 2018. Dr.Bharath, Director,Poornaprajna Institute of Management was invited as the Chief Guest. The inaugural ceremony was presided by Dr.B. Jagadeesh Shetty, Principal, Poornaprajna Degree College. The Head of the Dept of Commerce and Management,Prof. Sathyanarayana B, Prof. Shivakumar, BBA Incharge, Convenor of the Commerce Association, Mrs.Jayalaxmi and Convenor of Management Association Mr.Sandeep were present.
