ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR CA FOUNDATION COURSE



CA Foundation is an entry-level exam for those who are interested in the Chartered Accountancy course in India. As the name suggests, CA Foundation is all about equipping the aspirants to have thorough knowledge in accounting principles and implications of the study on various kinds of accounts. With the change in foreign policy and disinvestment plans, the accountant is adhered to study on the standard of international levels. ICAI has been progressive in understanding the demand of the situation and revising the old course to an updated one. CA Foundation 2020 course was earlier known as CPT effected from September 2017. The new CA foundation syllabus is considered to be more competitive and hard as compared to the old syllabus. The same tone is been set for all the exams of CA course. All the students who have appeared for 12th examination are eligible for chartered accountant foundation course. Although commerce stream students have the advantage in knowing the subject, students of science and arts stream are also eligible for CA foundation exam and can apply with the same enthusiasm as they have the edge over commerce students because of their analytical approach.

ICAI conducts the CA Foundation examination. CA Foundation Syllabus is divided into four subjects.  The paper pattern consists of 4 papers of 100 marks each. The papers will be of both objective and subjective type and there will also be negative marking for subjective type questions.  Students appearing for the exam must score 40% marks in each subject along with 50% aggregate score to get qualified for the CA Intermediate examination. The CA Foundation Course organized by Poornaprajna College is exclusively for its students so they will be able to manage both their degree and CA curriculum effortlessly. The classes will be taken up by expert faculties from the institution and outside.
